In this issue of the Bulletin, we share the story of the Mobile Access Project Van. The first of its kind in Vancouver, the MAP Van has been aiming to increase the health and safety of women working in the sex trade for the past 15 years, particularly in those areas where there are few or no services. Long time staff member and former volunteer at the HSCPC Tommy Luong also provides a full run-down of exactly what the HSCPC is and how you can get involved. We also give tips on business crime prevention and winter road safety.
Welcome to the HSCPC, where volunteers help you deal with crime and safety concerns, clean up trash and unwanted graffiti, promote the safety of young and old, and lead the way toward a better Hastings Sunrise for all.
