HSCPC volunteers put in an early shift this morning registering bikes along the Adanac bike trail. In approximately two hours, 24 bikes bikes were registered and joined the Project 529 inventory.
Bike registration with Project 529 is simple and fast enough that it can be done on your way to work. All you need to supply is your bike. Our volunteers will take a few pictures of your bike, make note of your bike’s serial number, and place a ‘shield’ (identification sticker) on your bike. Once registration is complete, your bike will be part of the Project 529 app database.
Registering your bike with Project 529 greatly increases the likelihood of your stolen or lost bike being returned to you. For more information on Project 529, please click here.
If you don’t ride your bike to work, please feel free to bring your bike by our office on any Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm. Our volunteers will be available to register your bike for free.
